Lendlease wins contract for Adelaide’s Northern Connector

The contract for the South Australian government involves construction of a new six-lane, 15.5km road linking the Northern Expressway with the South Road Superway and Port River Expressway.

"We are pleased to have been named successful tenderer for this world classtransport infrastructure project, which will support economic growth, stimulatenew urban renewal opportunities and generate local employment,” said Craig Laslett, managing director of Lendlease's Engineering business.

The full project scope includes the 15.5km motorway with three lanes in each direction, four interchanges and a 16 kilometre path for cyclists and pedestrians.

Major construction will start in the third quarter of this year for completion by the end of 2019.
