Linden Homes’ properties will be bordered by Northstowe’s Eastern water park and two cycle paths. They will be within walking distance from the new town’s central facilities. Linden Homes will create 560 parking spaces on site, and 16 of the 271 homes will be affordable housing.
According to the plans, Northstowe – five miles from Cambridge city centre – will be the UK’s biggest new town since Milton Keynes was built in 1967.
Linden Homes will build 60 two-bedroom, 114 three-bedroom, 62 four-bedroom and 19 five-bedroom homes for open market sale. An additional 11 three-bed and 5 four-bed properties will be affordable housing.
In a nod to sustainability, each Linden Homes property will be insulated and have a water butt.
