Lovell will start work in September 2017 on 50 new houses being built as part of the Nar Ouse Regeneration Area (NORA) project, regenerating brownfield land to the south of the town centre.
The NORA programme has already delivered more than 100 homes on the Nar Valley Park site, with half of these marketed through the government-backed Help-to-Buy scheme which is available to first-time buyers and existing owners.
In the next phase, Lovell will build 50 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses designed by Hamson Barron Smith, of which 42 are for open market sale and eight for rented and shared ownership. Completion is scheduled in early 2019.
