Lovell racks up regeneration framework places

24 Jan 14 Housing refurbishment specialist Lovell has been appointed to three major housing framework agreements in the northwest and North Wales.

In Salford, Lovell has been appointed to City West Housing Trust’s contractor framework. The company will be eligible to carry out internal and external improvement work with City West which is set to invest more than £100m to improve its properties over the next four years through kitchen and bathroom replacements and rewiring, roofing work, environmental improvements and the refurbishment of high- and low-rise apartment blocks. The not-for-profit organisation owns 14,600 homes in West Salford.

In Liverpool, Lovell has been appointed to the framework agreement established by Liverpool Mutual Homes (LMH) to deliver £25m of refurbishment work to its properties over the next four years.

The company has also been selected to work on social landlord Cartrefi Conwy’s four-year contractors’ framework for its properties in Conwy County, North Wales. Lovell will be eligible to carry out work worth up to £8m for Cartrefi Conwy, including building new homes and refurbishing properties.

Lovell regional director Nigel Yates says: “These major framework appointments reflect our strong track record in delivering successful housing refurbishment and new-build housing developments for our partners across the region.”
