M Lambe Construction bags Keepmoat work worth £18m

Midlands civil engineering contractor M Lambe Construction has secured work worth nearly £18m on two housing developments for Keepmoat Homes.

Firstly M Lambe Construction has a £12.9m groundworks contract on the £360m Spirit Quarters housing redevelopment scheme in northeast Coventry, where more than 3,300 new homes are being built.

The scope of the works includes the formation of foundation bases for 356 new homes and two apartment blocks, as well as infrastructure, including roads and sewers.

The second contract, at The Willows in Dudley, is worth £5.07m and includes construction of raft foundations for 130 plots, as well as roads, sewers, footpaths and a balancing pond.

Director Michael Lambe said: “We are extremely pleased to have been awarded these two contracts, which reflects the strong and successful partnership we have built with Keepmoat Homes.

“The Willows and Spirit Quarters wins demonstrate the trust our clients place in us to deliver high quality highway, infrastructure and groundworks to multi-million-pound regeneration developments throughout the Midlands.”
