MPA chief executive Nigel Jackson said: “MPA members need to be able to demonstrate contractors’ and subcontractors’ competence with the same degree of rigor as if the contractors were directly employed.”
Health & safety director Martin Isles added: “PICS demonstrated that their services, within our industry, were the best suited to providing MPA with their supplier prequalification service. Importantly, the PICS service, software and their approach to customer management meant they were best placed to deliver a first class service that meets the needs of our ‘Safer by Partnership’ program in the most cost effective manner.”
Cemex UK has chosen to expand its contractor management programme with PICS. Its health & safety director Andrew Taylor said: " Cemex UK has selected PICS to prequalify our contractors across a number of our UK business units… The PICS solution will make a significant contribution to our programme to improve health and safety across our business.”
