The ‘Super DC’ will have an area of 1.5 million square feet. It will stand 40m high and provide more than 150,000 racked pallet positions used for UK and European delivery and collection services for packets, parcels, pallets, part and full loads.
Uniserve property director John Gandy said: “We are delighted that McLaren are joining the team to deliver the first of our new breed of Super DCs. They have an excellent track record of delivering high quality projects and we are looking forward to working with them on this exciting new facility.”
Construction will begin this year.
