Projects include: Wick Community Campus, Wick North Primary School and Inverness Royal Academy for The Highland Council; Alford Community Campus for Aberdeenshire Council; Anderson High School and halls of residence for the Shetland Islands Council; plus a number of other school projects that are in development.

In addition to design and construction, Miller will also provide facilities management and lifecycle services at Wick Community Campus and is set to bid for estates services on the other school projects.

Financial close is expected on all the contracts within the next 18 months.

The contract was procured through hub North Scotland. To date hub North Scotland has reached financial close on seven projects. Miller is already on-site building the Aberdeen Community Health Care Village and community health centres at Forres, Woodside and Tain.

Miller Construction chief executive Chris Webster said: “We are delighted to have been selected as preferred partner on these education projects for hub North Scotland and to build on the success of the health projects we are currently delivering.

“Miller has a proven track record of delivering exceptional learning environments that support staff and teachers to engage and inspire future generations.  We look forward to reaching financial close on these projects and to delivering these new schools that will serve their communities for many years to come.”
