Miller wins £7m FM deal from London health trust

20 Feb 14 Miller Construction has won a £7m three-year contract to deliver facilities management services at more than 90 sites for Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL).

The trust provides healthcare to a third of London's population and extends to Milton Keynes, Kent and Surrey.

Miller will deliver hard facilities management services across the extensive trust estate in collaboration with CNWL’s in-house estates team.

There is an option to extend the three-year term by a further two years.

CNWL head of estates Brian Harthill said: “The new contract will deliver an improved and more comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance service for the trust. The introduction of consistent performance standards will not only help deliver financial savings, but also the continued delivery of a high quality environment for our patients, staff and visitors”.

Miller Construction chief executive Chris Webster added: “Health is a key market for Miller and we are delighted to have secured this latest contract with CNWL. We recognise that providing the best value and responsive facilities management services is increasingly important within this sector as it enables healthcare professionals to focus on patient care. We now look forward to maintaining these important facilities for the staff and communities they serve for many years to come.”
