Leigh Webb's departure has prompted Ainscough to combine its sales and marketing operations under Derek Gow as sales and marketing director. He has been commercial director for the past two years, in charge of Ainscough’s marketing operations.
Ainscough has also appointed a new chief financial officer, Charles Bithell, who has experience of working for private equity owned businesses like Ainscough.
Commenting on the changes, chief executive Janet Entwistle, who joined in September 2016, said: “Charles brings a wealth of experience and I am delighted to welcome him to my board. Leigh has built a strong sales team over the last 3½ years and we wish him success in the future. Bringing our sales and marketing activity together under Derek Gow will support our future development. Derek and Leigh have worked closely together over the last few years, which will ensure a smooth transition for our customers.”
