Motts signs agreement with Bangladesh university
Mott MacDonald Bangladesh has signed an agreement with the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) to take on students under a formal internship programme.
The memorandum of understanding with IUB’s career guidance and placement (CGP) department was signed by the university’s vice chancellor Professor Omar Rahman and Mott MacDonald Bangladesh country director Farook Chowdhury.
Under the MoU, two institutions agreed to cooperate in the development of the internship programme. The interns are to be selected twice a year following a strict process of evaluation and screening. Mott MacDonald will recruit selected students for an initial period of three months, which can be renewed, with scope to hire them as contracted staff. The interns will be provided with training and remuneration.
