New clients for Morrison Construction

Spirit Aerosystems (Europe) Ltd has chosen Morrison Construction to build a new paint facility at Prestwick. The £4.1m project involves the construction of a new paint finishing centre that will form an extension to Building 90 and replace two of the existing paint facilities on its campus at Glasgow Prestwick Airport. 

Over in Kilmarnock, Morrison Construction has a £1.4m contract to build a 1,400m² extension at the Queens Drive retail park for Aegon UK Property. The extension will house a Smyth Toys store.  This project started on site in May and is scheduled for completion next month. 

Regional director Eddie Robertson said: “It is an important success for us to win these contracts as they support our business strategy to diversify into new markets, looking to broaden our client base and build new long term relationships.”
