New Demag for John Sutch

13 Jan 17 After several years preferring Liebherr and Tadano all terrain cranes, John Sutch Cranes has returned to buying Terex machines, with the purchase of a 100-tonne class Demag AC 100-4L.

The Demag AC 100-4L has a compact 2.55-metre wide chassis and a main boom length of 59.4 metres. Lifting operations are controlled by the IC1-Plus computer system, with sensors taking into account the outrigger configuration.

Managing director John Sutch said: “This was a welcome opportunity to revisit the Demag brand as part of our ongoing investment programme. We looked at alternatives, and felt the AC100-4L was the right crane for us. It’s compact, versatile and incorporates all the latest developments and technical advancements recently introduced by the manufacturer.”

He added: “It’s a new generation of crane and very much looks the part in its smart yellow and blue livery.”
