Stepnell’s Wantage team has just begun work on a £2.6m contract to build a two-storey steel-framed 1,050m2 building.
Designed by architects BBLB Corstorphine + Wright, the pavilion has natural limestone external wall facing.
Completion is scheduled for summer 2015.
Stepnell contracts manager Dave Mawby said: “This project will create a first-class modern multi-use sports pavilion which will further enhance Summer Fields’ excellent facilities. Our focus throughout the construction programme will be on working closely with Summer Fields to ensure minimum disruption to the daily life of the school.”
