The courses have been developed in association with the Sector Skills Council, CITB-ConstructionSkills, and are supported by the Skills Funding Agency.
The NVQ qualification will include 91 guided learner hours (GLH) in a workplace environment, while the diploma will include 380 GLH.
Cskills Awards product developer Rob Sweeney, who co-led on the development of the qualifications, said: “Industry needs skilled individuals across a range of subject areas and we are here to develop robust qualification standards that reflect current and future demand.
