New Skanska company lands $120m contract
A new Skanska subsidiary has won its first contract, a US$120m (£91.3m) deal to provide construction services for a manufacturing plant in Indiana.
Industrial Contractors Skanska is part of Skanska USA Civil and was acquired and incorporated into the Skanska Group on 1 January.
The project involves the provision of all general construction services for maintenance and capital projects at the manufacturing facility over the next three years.
Industrial Contractors Skanska operates three separate business streams: power and energy; commercial and light industrial; and heavy industrial.
