New video from Portakabin " Changing the perception of modular buildings
Portakabin, has launched a new video as part of its campaign to change the perception of modular buildings and to demonstrate just what is possible with this highly innovative and flexible approach to providing interim accommodation.
This latest video, which can now be viewed within Construction Index TV, illustrates how buildings can be provided to manufacturing and commercial organisations that:
- Can easily accommodate more than 1,000 staff
- Are manufactured to permanent building standards and in line with the latest Building Regulations
- Feature floor to ceiling glazing to maximise natural light for an attractive and productive working environment
- Use a technically advanced building system with no internal columns for ease of space planning
- Are available in single and multi-storey configurations to meet specific project requirements.
Commenting on this latest initiative, Mike Williams, General Manager of Portakabin Hire, said, “Our research has shown that many organisations, particularly in the manufacturing and commercial sectors, are just not aware of how far modular buildings have come in recent years and of the scale, design flexibility and quality of the office environments that are now available – and for interim as well as permanent use.”
Applications for interim solutions are diverse and include open plan office accommodation, security buildings, canteens, meeting rooms, training suites, and project offices. The buildings can be supplied and installed in just days from receipt of order and can remain in use for as long as required. Modular accommodation can also be easily extended, reconfigured or relocated to meet changing business needs.
Portakabin has the widest network of hire centres in the UK and has the resources to deliver bespoke projects and standardised accommodation solutions to businesses, in the most challenging timescales, with less disruption and less impact on the environment.
