The transaction includes JCB 535-95, 540-140 and 540-170 models and doubles the number of Loadall telehandlers in the One Call Hire fleet.

One Call Hire commercial & sales director Tom Gleeson said:  “We chose JCB for this major telehandler investment due to the reliability of the products, the excellent relationship with our dealer Greenshields JCB and the value of the JCB brand among our customer base.”

He said that the low emissions and fuel economy of the EU Stage IIIB engines were also factors. “Each machine can save our customers as much £450 pounds a year in fuel, which is a reduction of 1668kg of CO2 gas. Over a year this equates to a reduction of 112,000 kg of CO2 or nearly £30,000 across these new additions to the fleet. “

One Call Hire has spent more than £60m on new equipment over the past two years, bringing the average age of each machine in the fleet to below 12 months old.
