Northern housing framework worth more than £800m

27 Aug 15 Up to 100 places are up for grabs on a construction framework worth £836m being put together by a consortium of northern housing associations.

Re:allies Works Ltd is a social housing regeneration consortium whose membership consists of Procure Plus (PP), Efficiency North (EN) and Central Housing Consortium (CHIC).  These three purchasing organisations together represent approximately 60 local authorities and registered social housing providers.

Re:allies is putting together a framework agreement for the new-build construction of residential and commercial buildings. The scope of works undertaken via the framework agreement will include site preparation, site remediation, associated civil engineering and infrastructure works, design, new build construction, refurbishment and the development of various property types.

The framework agreement is divided into four lots.

Lot one is for schemes worth up to £2m and based predominantly in the northwest. Total value of work under this lot is expected to be up to £50m.

Lot two is for schemes worth up to £2m and based predominantly in Yorkshire and Humberside. Total value of this lot is expected to be up to £62m.

Related Information

Lot three is for schemes worth more than £2m. Total value of this lot is expected to be up to £394m.

For the above three lots, a maximum of 30 contractors will be appointed.

Lot four is for offsite construction, worth £330m in total, and with a maximum of 10 contractors selected. Companies who are appointed to this lot will have an off-site construction solution that can be used to develop projects from design through to the manufacture, assembly and completion of all properties and the site.

Re:allies will be hosting a bidders’ day on 14th September 2015 at Manchester's Hotel Football, which is next to the Old Trafford football ground. This event will provide an overview of the opportunity and the procurement process. It will also be an opportunity for the Bidders to meet the Re:allies team.
