Plantforce has bought new Kobelco excavators from 3-tonne minis up to 35-tonne class, as well as a range of Hitachi excavators and 20 new dumpers.

“These are exciting times for Plantforce,” said managing director Claire Trott. “With an ever-increasing demand for machinery we are constantly looking to expand our fleet, as well as keeping our average age of excavators at around 18 months and maintaining our reputation of providing an outstanding service.”

As well as fleet expansion, Plantforce is also investing in new facilities. It is building new premises in Weston-Super-Mare and will move its head office to there from Bristol on completion. This will give it better transport links, more yard space and room for expansion, the company said.
