Waterman has been appointed by Pinenorth Properties to provide structural designs for the 1.8-hectare Teddington Film Studios' riverside site where planning consent has been granted for more than 200 apartments.  This site was formerly Pinewood Studios and overlooks Teddington weir on the River Thames. Demolition of the existing buildings is ongoing and construction of the new apartments will start this year.

A second commission received from Reselton is for Waterman to provide environmental and structural advice for the planning application for the 8.9-hectare Stag Brewery site alongside to the River Thames at Mortlake, London.  This site with a 200-metre River Thames frontage is being developed for residential, retail, hotel and leisure use.

Both Pinenorth and Reselton are owned by Singapore’s City Developments Ltd (CDL).

Waterman chief executive Nick Taylor said: "We are very excited to be involved in these two prominent sites which both benefit from an excellent riverside location to the west of the centre of London. We look forward to supporting our clients and delivering successful developments."
