Ruttle extends Bell relationship

Ruttle Plant has bought five Bell B30E trucks and a pair of L2106E wheeled loaders.

The new ADTs join other Bell trucks in the Ruttle fleet that it had bought second-hand. It was the performance of these that persuaded Ruttle to buy new Bells.

The new loaders replace two older L2106E machines that have been working in a salt works environment – described by Bell as ‘the toughest ever application’ for such plant. Bell Equipment has therefore devised modifications to increase protection for them against the aggressively salty working conditions

Carl Woollaston, sales support manager at Bell Equipment, explained: “Stainless steel fittings were added to consistently pump grease into the pivots and we also sprayed the component parts that may be susceptible to salt damage with a protective wax.”

Ruttle boss Gareth Ruttle said: “If the new Loaders and ADTs function anything like our other Bell machines, then I’m in no doubt that our relationship with Bell will have the potential to do nothing but continue.”
