The contract for Al Khozama Management begins with a US$53m refurbishment of Al Faisaliah Mall and demolition of the adjacent Seyahiah buildings to make way for the construction of an extension.
The contract – known as the Al Faisaliah District redevelopment project – involves remodeling and upgrading the centre section by section, ensuring that it remains open throughout the work, which is expected to be completed in 16 months.
The entire project is to be finished in three years.
