Seddon staffs up for Scottish contract
Seddon Property Services has taken on 40 new staff to help deliver a new contract with leading affordable housing provider Home Scotland, part of Home Group.
The recruitment drive has boosted Seddon Property Services’ workforce in Scotland by nearly 30% to 179.
The new staff members, including tradespeople, managers, administration staff and supervisors, will be working on Seddon’s five-year contract to provide reactive maintenance services for 3,500 homes. In addition, Seddon has a new fleet of 20 vans that will be used to reach Home Scotland customers across Scotland.
The Seddon team carries out responsive repairs for Home Scotland including joinery, painting, plumbing, gas services, plastering and roofing work. Seddon is based at the Whitehill Industrial Estate, Bathgate, West Lothian.
