Skanska-led team picked for US school buildings

Skanska’s share of the contract is US$46m. 

The contract with Fairfield City Schools and the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission includes includes the demolition of Central Elementary and Fairfield Freshman School, and construction of three school buildings with a total area of about 30,000m².

Construction will begin in September with an anticipated completion date in August 2017. All three buildings have been pre-registered for LEED certification consideration.
