The contract for the Rex Heart & Vascular Hospital is worth US93m (£60.7m) and involves construction of a new 28,000m2, eight-storey block at the Rex UNC Health Care Campus.
The new addition will be dedicated solely to the treatment of patients with heart disease. The patient tower floors will house 127 rooms and facilities will include an intensive care unit.
