Skanska has been awarded a £33m contract to design and build a college campus in Grays, Essex.

Construction of South Essex College of Further & Higher Education’s new Thurrock Campus begins immediately and completion is scheduled by summer 2014.

Under the contract, Skanska will be responsible for the development of the new campus covering an area of approximately 15,000 square meters, which will include one three-storey and one four-storey college buildings. 

Skanska is planning to achieve BREEAM Excellent rating for the new campus.
