Speller Metcalfe has now begun work redeveloping St Nicholas Park leisure centres in Leamington Spa and Newbold Comyn leisure centre in Warwick.

An extension to Newbold Comyn will house new fitness studios, a climbing wall and a sports hall. The swimming pool will also be refurbished and new changing rooms built. Plans also include a new 100-station gym and improved disabled facilities.

St Nicholas Park leisure centre is also being refurbished and extended to house a new 80-station gym and fitness studios. The swimming pool changing rooms will also be improved.

“Speller Metcalfe is absolutely delighted to be a part of such an exciting leisure development for the residents of Leamington Spa and Warwick,” said managing director Des O’Neill. “The modernisation of each centre will not only result in fantastic facilities for users, but also create opportunities for employment and investment in the local economy during the construction stage of the build.”

Construction works are scheduled to complete at the end of 2017.
