Work is now starting on the 3,600m2 two-storey development. It is being built on the site of an existing empty 1970s care home that is being demolished. Construction work on the new development is set for completion in autumn 2016.

Stepnell has built several care homes for OSJCT previously, including Athelstan House care home in Malmesbury and Hayward Care Centre in Corn Croft Lane, Devizes, as well as care home developments in Cheltenham and Grantham.

OSJCT assistant development director Richard Dooley said: “We have worked with Stepnell on several of our recent development projects, both in Wiltshire and elsewhere, and are pleased to be continuing our professional relationship, which has resulted in high-quality, innovative care facilities where people are happy to live and work.”
