It is holding a meet-the-buyer event, organised by Constructionline, on Wednesday of this week, where interested suppliers of trades and services can meet senior project staff and learn more about opportunities on the project. The meeting is being held at the Park Hotel in Kilmarnock.
McLaughlin & Harvey has a £39m contract to redevelop Ayrshire College’s Kilmarnock Campus on a former Diageo site. Trades required include brickwork, flooring, partition and painting and decorating.
Head of business development Michael Crotty said: “This event will help us engage with a variety of compatible SME contractors in Ayrshire to deliver this project, allowing us to contribute to the local economy. At the same time it will give us access to a range of professionals in the area to enhance our supply chain.”
