Prior to joining Turner & Townsend, he was managing director for SIP Group in China and has more than 20 years of global experience, having also previously served as commercial manager for Mivan in Ireland, and commercial director Africa and Asia Pacific Country Manager for Taylor Woodrow Construction.
His predecessor in Qatar, Graeme Baxter, is moving to support Turner & Townsend’s growing UAE operation.

I am excited to be taking the baton, and will use my global experience and understanding of the local market to ensure Turner & Townsend continues to be a valued and trusted advisor to major development schemes in Qatar.”
Mike Collings, Middle East managing director at Turner & Townsend, added: “He arrives at a key time in the evolution of Qatar’s construction industry – with many of the Q2022 infrastructure projects nearing completion and strong activity in the property sector.
