Team picked for €795m Grand Paris Express project
A consortium of Eiffage and Razel-Bec has won a €795m (£666m) contract to build a section of the Grand Paris Express 15 Sud railway line.
The contract for work package T2B was awarded to consortium leader Eiffage Génie Civil and Razel-Bec by Société du Grand. The section of the line is in Val-de-Marne, running between Bry-Villiers-Champigny and Créteil l’Échat stations.
The contract, in which Eiffage’s share is €435m, involves digging a 7.2km, 8.7m-diameter double-track tunnel, building seven related rail structures between the stations and an additional one for the future connection with the 15 Est line. Also included are three stations: Bry-Villiers-Champigny, Champigny Centre and Saint-Maur Créteil.
