Lancashire truck dealer Steadplan is moving into the construction equipment sector by joining the Cat Compact sales network,

Caterpillar master distributor Finning has been building up a network of dealers for compact equipment and Clitheroe-based Steadplan is the latest addition.

The Man truck dealer will now also offer Cat mini excavators, compact track loaders and skidsteer loaders.

Cat Compact dealer manager John Tierney said: “The partnership with Steadplan is a major move for Finning as we look to make significant growth to our compact equipment sales in the UK.
