3 Nov 15 Turner & Townsend has won a $10.5m (£6.8m) contract to support the capital programme at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in the USA.

The programme involves terminal refurbishment and expansion, new parking structures and overall infrastructure improvement of the infrastructure. The consultancy’s role over its three-year contract includes estimating, cost management and project scheduling.

Tina Millan, vice president and head of aviation USA for Turner & Townsend said: “We are honoured to be playing such a key role on this significant aviation programme.

“Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is the world’s fourth busiest airport, and with 1,850 flights per day everything has to run like clockwork. Our experience in leading complex programmes in live airports will help to deliver the ongoing capital programme while minimising impact on day-to-day operations and allow to plan for future growth.”
