United Utilities names AMP6 partners

11 Jul 14 United Utilities Water has selected four multi-disciplinary consortia for its AMP6 construction delivery partners framework.

While total spending plans will not be determined until November, the contracting teams can expect to share a workload of between £120m and £370m a year over the next five-year asset management programme period (AMP6), which starts April 2015.

They are also in line to stay in place for the AMP7 regulatory period from April 2020 to March 2025.

Each project will typically be in the range of £500,000 to £20m in value.

The selected teams are:

  • Mott MacDonald Bentley
  • C2V+ – a joint venture between Volkerstevin and CH2M Hill
  • Advance – a joint venture between Balfour Beatty and MWH Treatment
  • LiMA – a joint venture between Laing O'Rourke Construction and Imtech Process.
