Vinci starts work on New Zealand maritime hub
Vinci subsidiary HEB Construction has started the preparatory civil engineering for a maritime hub at Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty in the north of New Zealand.
The 11-month preparatory works involve earthworks, demolition of the existing slipway, the installation of sheet piles and bored piles, construction of a 32m-long quay and the creation of a water treatment plant.
This new development will provide services dedicated to maritime activities at Sulphur Point.
