Matthew Tunley joins Wates from Commercial Estates Group (CEG) and is a town planner by profession.
His job is to identify and secure opportunities across southern UK to include strategic land and brownfield sites without planning, as well as consented land for Wates’ joint ventures with house-builder.
“I am delighted to be joining Wates Developments at this time as the business is growing quite significantly,” he said. “I was attracted to Wates because of the reputation that it has in the market place for being a respectable and trustworthy partner. I am particularly looking forward to exploring future opportunities that exist to increase our land portfolio and grow the business even further.”
He is based at Wates corporate headquarters in Leatherhead, Surrey.
