Brian Carroll’s departure from Kocurek was announced at the end of May after eight years with the company. At that time it was not revealed where he was going.

Kocurek describes itself as the UK’s leading supplier of bespoke front end equipment for hydraulic excavators. It is particularly active in the demolition sector.

Attachments specialist Worsley has now issued a statement revealing that from September, Mr Carroll will be its general manager southern, setting up a new facility for London and the south of England.

Worsley Plant managing director Sean Heron said: “I’ve made no secret of the fact that I respect Brian and the work that he does.  I was keen to get him to join the team.  We had intended to open a facility in London next year but securing Brian as a team member has bought that forward in our plans as he is available now, and is the right man for the job.”

Brian Carroll said: “I am very excited about the role and the opportunity. I am looking forward to setting it up, generating sales and being part of the Worsley team. I truly believe that the potential is huge and that if we can be successful in London then it will be massive for Worsley Plant.”
