Extreme downhill excavator dismount with cushion landing
This video has been highlighted to us by regular Digger Blog reader James Mulholland, who recently posted it on our Friends of the Digger Blog page on Facebook.
The clip which has been doing the rounds on the machinery forum circuit for some time now, and depicts an agricultural contractors unique way of descending from a large silage pit in his Daewoo/Doosan 140LC Solar excavator. In a scene reminiscent of one our friend Doug Potters daredevil displays in his Hyundai, this operator has set up a large bank of tyres to offer him a nice cushioned landing.
