Hyundai, New Holland and more at the 54th annual Doe Show

Plant dealer Ernest Doe’s annual show is coming up next month, on Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th February 2014 at Ulting, Maldon Essex.

It is billed as the largest dealer event in the UK and this is the 54th annual Doe Show.

A lot of the kit on show will be agricultural machinery but there will be plenty for construction too. Ernest Doe is a dealer for New Holland and it will be showing the new generation LM telehandler (pictured below). This model has a more powerful Stage IIIB engine, new powershift transmission, new headstock design and new boom design.

Ernest Doe has also been a Hyundai dealer for construction machinery for more than 20 years. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of Hyundai machines, including many from the Dash-9 series.  There will also be a demo plot where a range of Hyundai machines will be put through their paces by experienced operators.

Look out for the R16-9 mini excavator, R25Z-9A zero-swing excavator, R27Z-9 mini and the R35Z-9 mini.  Also on display will be the R55-9 also from the mini range and the R60CR-9 short tail swing mini, the R80CR-9 (pictured above) with short tail swing and with the addition of a tilting cabin.  

Larger machines on display include the R140LC-9A (pictured above), the R145LCR-9 and the R330LC-9A crawler excavator. Units awaiting confirmation of availability for the show include the R145LCR-9A and the R220LC-9A – should this machine not be able to make an appearance the 201LC-9 will be on display.

Also on show will be Bomag compaction equipment, including the new BT60 tampers, and Thwaites dumper trucks.

There will be more than 150 trade stands at the Doe Show with both new and used equipment for sale, and a large indoor display area devoted to ancillary products.  In the region of 10,000 visitors are expected. It is free to get in and free parking.
