The PL4611 is the largest pipelayer machine in Volvo's current 3 model range, which was recently joined by the PL3005D that we saw making its debut in Lorient, France last week. This machine is powered by Volvo's D12D engine which offer's a maximum power output of 235kw (320hp). Fitted with a standard 9 metre boom, the machine has an operating weight of 68.0 tons, and a maximum lift capacity of 70 ton's.
