Nottingham City Homes - Lenton Flats Demolition
This production shows the demolition of Lenton Court in Nottingham between May and November 2013.
Nottingham City Homes manages all 28,000 council properties on behalf of Nottingham City Council and this scheme is part of a Decommissioning and Regeneration programme in the city. Lenton Court was the first one of five high rise (16 floor) flats at this site (built in the 1960s) to be demolished, clearing the way for the construction of 142 new council homes to be completed by 2017.
