About Us

At Nayr Recruitment, our aim is not to be the biggest recruitment agency in the UK, but to be the best and only work with selected businesses where we can see an opportunity to consistently deliver to a high standard and become their recruitment & training partner of choice.

Recruitment Services

We provide a comprehensive range of services from traditional contingent recruitment, as well as executive search and selection. Our head office is based in Glasgow City Centre where our experienced recruitment team service both permanent & contract roles as well as trades & labour requirements across the UK wide & Ireland.

Our Accreditations

Nayr Recruitment are REC, CITB, IOSH Certified. We have also been awarded Corporate Live Wire’s Innovation & Excellence award for construction recruitment services 2019/20 and CV Magazine’s Recruitment Elite award, as well as being in the process of obtaining our Construction Gold Membership. Nayr Recruitment use a GDPR/ICO process driven recruitment system to ensure all candidate and client information has been obtained legally and we have permission to store it on our internal system. Our Consultants have cemented fantastic relationships with candidates across every sector, helping us keep one step ahead of our competitors when it comes to finding, speaking, and placing the best candidates within our clients’ businesses.

Training Services

As of 2020, we expanded our services to include a training division. Nayr Training offers both our clients and candidates a wide variety of training courses including CITB, IOSH, IPAF, PASMA and First Aid approved courses as well as our own in-house short courses covering various topics. To ensure our delegates have the best and most engaging experience possible, all our courses are facilitated by a muddy boot’s trainer. As well as a wide range of weekday training, some courses are held remotely via Zoom, during the evening or at weekends to make them as accessible as possible.

Compliance / Vetting Process

As well as having rigorous compliance policies in place, our vetting process is strictly adhered to. All Freelance, Trades & Labour who we place on site go through a vigorous vetting process before attending site. This involves meeting all candidates where possible, if not a Skype interview will be held. All identification (right to work in UK), qualifications, tickets collected and verified by a consultant as well as 2x recent working references either verbal or written. All information on candidates, including emergency contact, is stored on our in-house database.

We are currently supplying and involved with various PSL’s for both main and subcontractors across the UK. Example of roles we have successfully recruited across the UK include:

White Collar Operational and Commercial Staff
All Skilled Trades across build, civil, fit-out, refurbishment and M&E
Specialist Skilled approved permit holders for example: National Grid, SPEN

All tradespersons will receive an email or text detailing start details for example: site address, site contact, induction time, tickets and PPE required, which they then must confirm they understand and have all the relevant documents and PPE before attending site.
