Working around the clock with its global suppliers which include; Honda Engines and Stihl, Seddons are keeping good stock levels of spare parts, machines and are identifying problems in the supply chain early so that alternative products can be made available to help customers continue to operate at optimum level.

Anticipating one such problem has been the global shortage of Honda GX120 petrol engines, in particular; GX120 QX, GX120 QX9 and GX120 QX4 engine models. Seddons are advising customers that if they have requirements for these engines to consider the alternative GX160 QX4 engine, which will fit machines where a GX120 is used. However, there are certain exceptions to this and are dependent on the type and power requirement of a machine and therefore it’s always best to check.
