Role Overview&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Exciting opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to work on the delivery, configuration, and support of intelligent lighting control systems&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Hands-on role involving on-site commissioning, client training, and technical support across commercial and industrial projects&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Responsible for ensuring systems are installed, tested, and handed over to a high operational standard&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Involves preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive troubleshooting, and system upgrades&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

Key Responsibilities&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
On-Site Commissioning &amp; Support&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Deliver full end-to-end commissioning of lighting control systems, including testing and client sign-off&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Provide in-person training for clients and internal commissioning engineers&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Perform headend installations, IP network configuration, and system diagnostics&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault-finding&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Offer expert technical advice and responsive aftercare support to end users&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Documentation &amp; Reporting&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Submit daily Site Attendance Reports (SARs) and snag reports&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Conduct on-site and remote health checks, generating detailed reports&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Regularly back up and update system databases to shared servers&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site-specific documentation&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Health &amp; Safety &amp; Compliance&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Maintain valid ECS / CSCS card for site access&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Complete ongoing H&amp;S training including “Flick” modules&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Uphold all safety procedures while working independently on client premises&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Continuous Learning &amp; Communication&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Stay updated with new lighting technologies and system changes&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Identify upgrade or remedial opportunities and report findings to key account managers&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Collaborate with commissioning supervisors and sales for project coordination&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Provide feedback to improve products, services and commissioning processes&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

Essential Skills &amp; Experience&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Experience in lighting control commissioning, testing and technical handover&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Strong understanding of DALI protocols, relay circuits, and lighting integration&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Skilled in IP network configuration (routers, gateways, user interfaces)&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Comfortable with fault diagnosis, headend installation, and reactive support&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Previous experience delivering client training and creating technical reports&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Familiar with product lifecycle support, including RMA processing and system optimisation&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

Qualifications &amp; Certifications&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• 18th Edition electrician qualification (preferred)&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

• Formal training or background in electrical systems or lighting technology&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
• Understanding of system documentation, database backups and compliance&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
