Kier Utilities keep our telecoms clients' customers connected to superfast broadband, digital TV and the latest full-fibre gigabit internet services through the design and construction of new fibre networks as well as the maintenance of existing HFC networks.

Your role as an Administrator

This is a permanent position sitting within the operational team involve executing work to meet Openreach deadlines. Your role as an administrator, will involve assessing job packs and confirming the correct location for works to start. Uploading utility prints/ map to PROVEIT system whilst following all H&S requirements. You will be required to specify the location, scale, and the urgency.

Key Responsibilities of an Administrator

  • Always adhering to safe working practices
  • Identifying jobs that fall within the location of Interest when necessary escalating to the relevant person for further investigation
  • Contacting stakeholders to gain permission to proceed
  • Arrange site meetings, building strong relationships with Highways team, stakeholders, and BT Openreach
  • Manage specific expectations at administration level
To be a successful Administrator we need from you

  • Strong administration skills
  • Confident with process driven office environments
  • Experience dealing with stakeholders building relationships
  • Previous experience in the utilities industry would be advantageous
