Graduate Structural Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Graduate Structural Engineer Location: Gloucestershire £25,000 - £30,000 Full time permanent Specialist steel structures | Small team, support for Chartered Engineer status | Excellent benefits package We are working with a well-established company who are leaders in their field, now seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer. They actively encourage a team environment, where lines of demarcation are minimal and you will be close and visible to senior management. You will be part of this Fabricator's own in-house Design Team, where you will be able to influence and see the results of your designs. The role:

• Designing a range of steel structures, including some foundation design, and working closely with your colleagues
• You may be required to attend site either to supervise installations or to resolve issues
• Close liaison with colleagues in other teams, including Drawing Office, Project Management, Sales and Fabrication
• Working on design and approval documentation
• Involved in the development of new products

About you:

• Engineering Degree qualified (eg Civil, Structural, Mechanical)
• Able to understand structural principles
• You have a strong practical bias, and work in a methodical and ordered manner
• You may be a relatively new Graduate or you could have some post-graduation experience
• Any knowledge of steel design and/or Highways England or Network Rail would be particularly advantageous
