Plumbing Technician

Job Description

Protocol are working with a leading FE College based in the South West London area. They offer a broad and innovative curriculum for people aged 16+, with a small section for courses for young people aged 14-16 with their school link programmes. Their courses for 16-18 year olds include A Levels and an extensive range of vocational and technical qualifications (diplomas/certificates) and apprenticeships from entry level to level 5. This institution had a 95.7% A Level pass rate (2019), 65.2% A Level students gained A*-C grades (2019), 93% vocational pass rate (2019) and have a Prestigious Matrix quality standard accreditation for Information, Advice and Guidance.

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join them on a starting as a Plumbing Technician.

Role responsibilities
Preparing teaching
Providing technical support to students and assisting the lecturer in overseeing the quality of learners work.
Working 18 hours per week
Motivating students to excel in their subject area
The person & qualifications
Have a minimum of a L3 in a relevant subject / degree
Must have experience working within the Plumbing Industry
Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)
