Each prison has its own purpose built OFSTED registered education department, boasting with both fully equipped classrooms for academic subjects and custom assembled workshops for vocational courses. All subjects delivered are fully accredited with a view to the learners gaining recognised qualifications.

We are currently recruiting for a Tiling Lecturer to work at HMP Hewell (mixed security male adult prison) on a full time, long term sickness cover basis.

We are keen to hear from candidates that use innovative techniques to motivate and inspire learners.

Role responsibilities
Deliver Tiling qualifications up to level 3
To work with challenging learners
To motivate and inspire learners


The person & qualifications
Hold a recognised teaching qualification
Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in a construction related qualification
Experience within the construction industry
Plenty of enthusiasm and the ability to motivate learners
An assessing qualification is desirable

Please note - you will be required to undertake prison security clearance if successful as well as hold a DBS certificate. This is completed as part of the recruitment process for at no cost to yourself.
