Welder/fabricator

Job Description

Welder/fabricator required to work on a permanent basis

Commutable from Leicester, Wigston, Oadby, Thurmaston and surrounding areas

Paying between £22000 - £26000

overtime paid at a premium after 38 hours

and can earn up to £50,000 including overtime

32 Days holiday including bank holidays

Our Client has over 100 years experience, you will be working for a company who has been at the heart of manufacturing in the Midlands since 1897. We have multiple generations working at this company and treating staff fairly is one of their main priorities

The Role:

Operating sheet metal machinery to produce dust extraction equipment

Your duties will involve the manufacturing of the product from the flat sheet to the finished article

Doing a varied role, not just sitting on a machine press all day

Working in a fast paced factory with a good team around you

Experience

A background in sheet metal working

Ability to Roll bend and fold mild steel

MIG Weld Mild steel up to 3mm
